As Specialty Pharmacy Manager of Accreditation at Omnicell, Anne Nelson plays a key role in ensuring compliance with industry standards. Leveraging her expertise in regulatory requirements and accreditation processes, she collaborates with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest quality of care and drive continuous improvement. “I was looking for ways to expand my reach to the pharmacy world and found everything I was looking for in the current role I’m in with Omnicell,” said Nelson. “Currently, we have two different accrediting bodies that we work with, and they are specific to specialty pharmacy. In my role, I help them get prepared for accreditation — this includes review of policy and procedures, documentation preparation, as well as training the staff and ensuring that the documentation that they are doing in the patient management program will meet the standards.”
